Offset trihedral

The opening angle is wider than a “classic” trihedral (homogeneous RCS over 40° angular range).

Depending on the application, particular attention is paid to the mechanical assembly of the so-called “precision” trihedral to ensure precise squareness between all the faces of the trihedral.

The precision corner reflector is a particular interest for use in frequency bands in excess of 20Ghz.

LUN’TECH has obtained the exclusive worldwide license for the manufacture and sale of offset trihedral reflectors developed by the CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales). The main advantage of this reflector is its homogeneous response, i.e. a maximum ripple of 1dB over a 40° angular range.
